Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated technician to join our dynamic team in Berlin, Germany. This role involves overseeing prototyping, managing production processes, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The position offers opportunities for professional growth into battery design and customer relations.

Responsibilities

Prototyping Lab:

• Build prototypes and samples for new products.
• Conduct performance characterization and stress testing.
• Carry out environmental and electrical testing to ensure reliability.

Production:

• Manage materials and coordinate with the supply chain.
• Oversee assembly processes and production equipment according to manual.
• Ensure compliance with process controls and quality assurance standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with safety protocols.

Quality Control:

• Train and mentor team members on quality assurance.
• Plan and oversee quality testing and execution.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on quality metrics.
• Manage risks and resolve quality-related issues.

Opportunities for Growth

• Gain hands-on experience in battery design, production flow and testing.
• Contribute to customer feedback loops to improve product quality.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or technical qualification in electronics (Elektroniker:in für Geräte und Systeme, Industrieelektriker:in, staatlich geprüfte:r Techniker:in Elektrotechnik, or comparable) - must.
• At least 2 years' experience in prototyping, production, or quality control - must.
• Confident hands-on soldering, THT and SMD - must.
• IPC certification (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001 or IPC/WHMA-A-620) - an advantage.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with safety and quality protocols.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in English is required.
